Jason grubbs white pages indiana8/3/2023 Schlossnagle's Horned Frogs repeated as C-USA regular season and tournament champions in 2005, and once again earned a berth to the NCAA tournament. Under Schlossnagle, conference championships began piling up year after year, in conference after conference. Former Head Coach Lance Brown had recruited several exceptional classes, which allowed Schlossnagle to coach his first TCU team to the program's first regular season conference championship in a decade, its first conference tournament championship in history, and its first NCAA tournament appearance since 1994. Jim Schlossnagle was hired as TCU's head coach in 2003 and coached his first season at TCU in Spring 2004. After Brown's departure, TCU would go on to make several more conference moves in the early 2000s and see an emergence of its baseball program as a perennial national power. Through his career as TCU's skipper, Brown notched a school-record 517 wins. Long time TCU Head Coach Lance Brown, a SWC hall-of-famer as both a TCU player and TCU coach, retired after the 2003 season. Two seasons later, TCU joined the Houston Cougars, another former SWC member, in entering Conference USA (C-USA) for the 2002 season. Eight WAC member schools joined with schools from several other conferences to form the new Mountain West Conference (MWC) in 2000. The Horned Frogs made two appearances in the WAC baseball tournament in the team's five seasons as a member of the WAC. During the 19 seasons, TCU competed in the WAC South Division with the New Mexico Lobos, UNLV Rebels, and former SWC member Rice Owls. Following the dissolution of the SWC, the TCU Horned Frogs first joined the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). The dissolution of the SWC in 1996 touched off a period of instability for the Horned Frogs that lasted nearly two decades, during which they made stops in six conferences. The SWC baseball tournament began in 1977, but the Horned Frogs never earned a conference tournament title before the SWC dissolved following the 1996 baseball season. The Horned Frogs went on to win 4 more SWC titles in 1956, 1966, 19. In 1933 Dutch Meyer, most noted for his tenure as head coach of the two-time national champion football team, led TCU to its first SWC title with a 9–1 record. In their inaugural SWC season, the Frogs finished the year with a 13–11 overall record and a 2–10 conference record. The Horned Frog baseball team began playing baseball in the Southwest Conference (SWC) when it became a member of the conference in 1923. TCU has fielded a baseball team since 1896, before the university found its permanent home in Fort Worth. The Frogs are led by head coach Kirk Saarloos. Since February 2003, the Horned Frogs have played their home games at Lupton Stadium, located on the TCU campus in Fort Worth, Texas. The Frogs have competed in the Big 12 Conference since 2013 and previously competed in the Mountain West, Conference USA, Western Athletic Conference and Southwest Conference. The TCU Horned Frogs baseball team represents Texas Christian University in NCAA Division I baseball.

Autozone 51r battery8/3/2023 They have a solid reputation for quality and long life. In our opinion, Optima YellowTop batteries are always a good choice. This battery can work reliably in warmer climates without causing heating problems. Group 51 batteries are used in cars built for hot weather, too. This battery has 450 cold-cranking amps (CCA), which is enough to give you reliable starts, even in cold weather. Nissan, Mazda, and Honda tend to feature the latest in electronics and require a battery that can provide both slow, steady power and starting power. The Optima YellowTop is a good dual-purpose battery with both cranking power and can withstand the heavy deep-cycle use needed by most Japanese cars. Optima is a good choice for those who need a durable battery that is reliable when it comes to starting. It is well-sealed and maintenance-free with no need to check the acid levels. This battery's long life and reliability mean that it has a lower cost of ownership over time. We recommend this battery because it has a reputation for long service life and can handle today's electronics. It has SAE posts, which provide a secure connection on most vehicles. Many times, they are better than the battery that came with the car when it was purchased. Duracell makes its batteries to meet or exceed OEM specifications. This one has excellent starting power and maintenance-free for up to 24 months. They can easily supply the power needs of today's modern vehicles. In truth, offering early action at all would be illogical under this assumption: a method for students who specifically consider UChicago a second or third choice school to apply. There is a narrative that UChicago uses binding programs to artificially inflate yield. EA is certainly easier than RD, and if you want to go to UChicago but are uncertain about a binding program, I would encourage applying Early Action. I have many friends who were accepted EA, and I have many friends who were accepted after a deferral. While it is certainly true that colleges in general are more likely to accept an individual that applies through a restrictive program, if an applicant is sufficiently qualified, a top college with a yield rate above 70%-ish will not reject them because they fear they are not the top choice school. I chose RD instead of EDII, and I was accepted anyways. So, thoughts? Does Chicago EA actually have worse odds than Harv/Yale REA?Īny chance H+Y will also get rid of their REA and solve my problem for me?Īs an incoming UChicago first-year who applied EA, I feel uniquely qualified to answer this question. But I figured that since Chicago has an ED program, applying EA is a pretty clear signal that they're not your top choice, and I saw some stuff saying that almost all EA apps get deferred and then rejected unless they switch to ED2. The only other school on my list (other than state schools obvi) with an EA program is UChicago. My initial thought was to instead apply REA to either Harvard or Yale, but my worry is that pretty much everyone planning to early at pton has this exact same idea, and as a result the pools at those schools will be ridiculously competitive this year. I am a rising senior and was planning to apply to Princeton REA, which obviously isn't an option anymore. Hi! Biscuit love nashville tn8/3/2023 The difference here it that the biscuits are so good that the other elements are distracting. We’ve had loaded fried chicken and biscuit sandwiches before, and they’re always a satisfying if messy way to start the day. The most famous is the East Nasty, a biscuit filled with a boneless Southern-fried chicken thigh and aged cheddar smothered in sausage cream gravy. You could easily share this, or eat it as a main course for a sweet breakfast. Its accompaniments are delightful and enrich the donuts without making them too sweet. The dough is dense, but fries up with air in it. The most famous sweet snack are Bonuts, which are donut holes rolled in cinnamon and sugar topped with lemon chiffon cream nestled atop blueberry compote. The buttermilk fueled bakery makes buttery, fluffy rolled biscuits, drop biscuits and even deep-fried breakfast pastries out of biscuit dough. Get anything here, but just make sure to get biscuits in as many forms as you can. They are soft, dense, and buttery, served fresh and warm. A modern take on Southern breakfast, it works because it focuses on simply making great biscuits. Nowadays, successful companies need to look at the broadest definition of sustainability to build a corporate culture that ensures a long-term sustainable business, says Petra Einarsson, who is a director of several companies after a long career at Sweden’s Sandvik and as CEO of Stockholm-based pulp and paper manufacturer BillerudKorsnäs. The close oversight and due diligence of supply chains is an emerging requisite. Companies need to document their sustainability commitment with policies and audited data to rebut claims of “greenwashing” and, increasingly, to access financing. In the governance area, the onus is on greater transparency. Companies must also demonstrate robust safety and health practices, respect for human rights and a diverse and inclusive corporate culture. Social considerations encompass far more than previous notions of “corporate social responsibility” with its focus on the development of local communities. Today, however, our interviewees agree that companies cannot risk ignoring the social and governance aspects of ESG. Since the landmark 2015 Paris Agreement, the reduction of GHG emissions, biodiversity and, more recently, the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste have gained special prominence. Traditionally, process industries have been focused on environmental performance and it remains a priority for many companies. It must urgently wake up to environmental, social and governance (ESG) demands and adapt to a world in which leading sustainability performance is increasingly linked to financial success. The process industries sector is not immune to these pressures. Mounting concern about climate change over recent years has been accompanied by citizens’ demands for a more just society - magnified by social media - that covers ethical corporate behavior more broadly. The stark “now or never” warning in the latest report by the UN’s International Panel on Climate Change is a cry for action by governments and businesses to tackle head-on the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
